After years of fighting, 100 Social Equity applicants made it through Phase 3 Round 1 to the next stage of the Los Angeles Cannabis Retail Storefront application.
These applicants are vetted Social Equity participants who were impacted by the War on Drugs. Despite the odds stacked against them, they maneuvered through the City’s hoops, secured and held storefront premises, drafted operating plans and raised the capital to pay their $9,000+ application fee. They followed the rules, worked hard, and did what they were supposed to.
